A two floor renovation to an existing 6 story office building to which houses Y-12 Federal Credit Union’s main offices in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The objective of the project was to develop a more functional reception/lobby space in addition to 9 executive offices and a collaborative open office space. The upper level serves as the main point to the office building while the lower level serves as a credit union branch for customers. A strong connection between the two spaces was created with full glass walls on each floor with a folding plate stair. The glass handrail expresses openness.
